
I love to exercise, yet lately, I’ve been wondering if my mindset around this good habit may not be as healthy as it seems.
I exercise to ship my body in shape. A treadmill I’ve been on since I was 16.
While laying on a massage table recently, the “good pain” reminded me of the attention and care my body needs yet rarely gets because I think the value is in doing more reps.
It made me wonder if instead of exercise being something I do TO my body, it was instead something I did FOR my body. Like having a massage.
I’ve decided I need to healthy-up my thinking on exercise and on this mid-life body.
To appreciate and nurture it like the valued vessel it is.
